Hi! I’m Emerald, a southern New Hampshire mom, wife, budget chief and blogger. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Finance Minor. Writing has been a consistent and enjoyable past-time, hence, this blog! This blog serves as a way to share my life experiences and how they continue to shape me and how I show up in the world.
How Did I Get Here?
I started my motherhood journey as single mom and eventually met my Husband when my oldest, was 18 months old. This blog was created as an outlet to document and process my single mom journey and the self-work I did to move on but has been sustained by much more. I am a champion for self-accountability and growth, and I write as a way to share my life experiences which have been used as a catalyst to garner wisdom, truth and power.
Sharing my story as it continues to unfold serves as a way for me to live my purpose authentically and unapologetically, and my hope is that others are inspired to Journey forward regardless of what life throws their way.

What is it that fuels you? Here, it’s the Journey. Writing about life-lessons and wisdom gained, what interests me, and sharing as life continues to unfold. A linear path did not lead me here. It was a path that was all over the place in order to gather what I needed along the journey, and that’s okay.
